Jim DeCosse
Jim DeCosse is an owner and Co-CEO of Gallatin Valley Furniture Carpet One. Jim began his career as an owner / manager at our original down-town location on Main Street. Shortly after moving our business to our current location, Jim began overseeing the furniture department. During this time, Jim has developed the business into one of the top performing furniture retailers in the industry. Jim's focus on hiring and retaining a quality staff, providing excellent service, and offering the greatest collection of furniture resources in the area has made Gallatin Valley Furniture Carpet One the place to shop for fine furnishings and design assistance in Bozeman, Big Sky, and the surrounding communities.

Dennis Cattin
Dennis is co-owner and Co-CEO of Gallatin Valley Furniture Carpet One. He joined Gallatin Valley Furniture "Carpet One" in 1975 as a sales associate in home furnishings and floor coverings. In 1991, the business joined the Carpet One co-operative under his management. Since then, Gallatin Valley Furniture "Carpet One" has the honor of having the highest market penetration of all the Carpet One stores world wide and is in the top 10% of all Carpet One stores in production world wide. Gallatin Valley Furniture "Carpet One" has become the flooring choice for consumers, builders, and developers due to Dennis's passion for providing; customer service, quality products at competitive prices, and a knowledgeable and capable staff.

Michael Torgerson
Michael Torgerson is our Furniture Department Sales Manager, has been in the furniture industry for over 30 years, is a former member of the "Interior Design Society," and has been with our store for over 24 years. He began his career working in our warehouse and installing draperies and blinds and joined the sales/design staff within a years time. In 1986 Michael and his family moved to Phoenix and was employed as a designer and display manager for Barrow-Tempe, but returned to Gallatin Valley Furniture Carpet One in 1992. Michael supervises the furniture sales staff, is a buyer for the products we carry, and manages the display of the furniture department. He is also the "voice of Gallatin Valley Furniture Carpet One' in our radio and television adds.

Jeff Anderson
Jeff Anderson is our Flooring Department Sales Manager. With over 20 years of retail and corporate sales experience, Jeff provides leadership and guidance to each of our employees and sub-contractors. Jeff is certified by Carpet One's Installation Excellence program and has completed numerous Carpet One management and product training programs.

Brian Cattin
After a five year career in Business Management Consulting, Brian has moved back to Bozeman with his wife Colleen to join the family business. Brian is involved with the management and sales of flooring, furniture, and window covering departments, is a buyer for furniture products, provides assistance to the design and sales staff, and is involved with Operations, Human Resources, Marketing, & New Business Development for the store.
