+Do you charge for a designer to come to my home?
We provide free designer consultations for our clients. If extensive assistance is requested to help select products we do not sell we will have a design fee of a competitive hourly rate.
+Do you charge for delivery of furniture?
At Gallatin Valley Furniture Carpet One, we appreciate your business and want to provide free delivery services when it is economically feasible. With today's high cost of fuel, vehicles, and delivery staff, it is sometimes appropriate to cover these expense with reasonable delivery charges as is the norm in the industry.
We will provide free deliveries within a 25 mile driving distance for all purchases. Deliveries between 25-100 miles driving distance will incur a reasonable delivery fee; should purchases exceed $5,000, the delivery will be free. Deliveries beyond 100 miles driving distance will incur a minimal mileage charge.

+How soon can I expect to receive my order?
If your product is in-stock, delivery within the Bozeman area can generally be completed in just a few days. Once your Special Order is received, we will unpack, inspect and schedule delivery within days.
+Is the furniture set up in my home?
Yes, of course. Our professional delivery team will not only carry the product into your home, they will also (within reason) move your old furniture to a different area of your home. Your furniture will be set up and leveled, dusted, glass cleaned, shelves installed, etc.
+How long does it take for special orders of furniture to be shipped?
Generally, special orders will arrive in a 6-10 week period; however, custom orders may have occaisional delays due to fabric or inventory availability. In addition, shipment of products might be delayed for various reasons. We encourage our clients to check on the status of special orders.
+What if my furniture arrives damaged?
Our store features an excellent repair department. Product can be "touched up" to customer's satisfaction and/or re-ordered, depending upon the freight damage incurred.
+Is there an additional charge for changing fabrics or leathers?
Special orders are priced at discounted pricing depending on manufacturer and sales events. Often times there is no up charge for special orders. Pricing is determined by the grade of a fabric or leather from the manufacturer, special trims, nailhead treatments, finishes, etc., so prices may vary higher or lower from the item on the floor. Grade of fabric/leather should not be used as a determining factor for wearability or longevity of a piece of furniture. Grade has only to do with the cost of manufacturing the fabric, or process of tanning the leather.
+Can you purchase furniture directly off you floor?
Of course! Very rarely we will "tie" a specific product to the floor.
+Can I buy and extra table leaf?
This depends, completely, upon the manufacturer. Most times we order tables with the maximum number of extensions, and the support system will not handle more leaves. Check with your sales/designer.
+What is the difference between King size and California King size bed?
An "Eastern King" is 76 wide by 80" long. A "cal-king" is 72" wide by 84" long.
+Can you give me a bid on my project?
Knowing what the final cost of your flooring project is in most cases important. We are happy to prepare a bid for your flooring needs.
+Do you carry other flooring materials? (i.e. grout, glue... Etc.)
We carry all the necessary installation materials for tile including thinset, grout and sealers.
+How soon can flooring be installed into my home?
GVF "C1" caries one of the largest flooring inventories in Montana. This means that in many cases you can pick up your new flooring and install it that day. In the case where you would like one of our certified installers to professionally install your flooring, we can in most cases arrange installation within a few days of your final selection.
+What warranties do you have on your installation?
We guarantee the quality of workmanship and installation for the lifetime of the product. Should installation service attributable to the original installation be required during the life or your flooring, we will provide the service at no cost to you. "Life of the product" is defined by the term of the Limited Wear Warranty. General terms and conditions for warranties apply. +What is the cost of installation for all materials?
Installation requirements vary by each job. We are more than happy to prepare an installation estimate for you.
+Are you scheduling a good installer?
Yes, our installers are installation excellence certified.
+Can I just use my old carpet cushion?
Most manufacturers warranties require that you replace your carpet cushion whenever you replace your carpet.
+Will I be able to see the seems in my new carpet job?
At Gallatin Valley Furniture Carpet one we take pride in that all of our installers are certified Installation Excellence installers. However, not every seem is invisible, but we do take extra effort to make sure the seems in a room are in less visible areas.
+How do I pay for my order?
We accept all major credit cards, such as Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express or debit cards. Personal checks are happily accepted, with proper identification. We also have financing available from American General Finance.
+Do you offer any sort of financing plan?
We offer "90 Days Same As Cash" through American General Finance on a daily basis. Periodically, there will be special "6-month Same As Cash" purchase programs through American General Finance as well. All are, of course, subject to credit approval.
+Are your prices subject to change?
Once we provide a quote, your prices will not change as long as the order for merchandise is placed prior to factory price changes. Prices are a reflection of costs, freight, and sale periods.
+Do I have to pay tax?
At the present time, Montana does not have a sales tax. There are, however, certain areas of the state which charge "resort" taxes, such as Big Sky and West Yellowstone. If products are actually purchased in those areas, there is a sales tax. However, if it is purchased in Bozeman, no tax will be charged. Some states require the consumer to pay sales tax on product purchased in Montana and delivered to their home state.
+What is your cancellation/return policy?
As long as we can cancel special orders from the manufacturer, we will be glad to do so . . . However, if product is in production, has shipped or is completed waiting to ship, we cannot cancel. Cancellation can result in forfeiture of your deposit, or a re-stocking fee, depending entirely upon the re-sell-ability of the product. Special ordered or stock product altered to customer's specifications are not returnable.
+What warranties do you offer?
Gallatin Valley Furniture / Carpet One features manufacturers who are the leaders in the furniture industry. Manufacturer warranties are supplied with the product purchased . . . and in addition, we stand behind everything we sell. Generally warranties are between the purchaser and the manufacturer, but we will gladly act as "go-between". There is no warranty if it is obvious the product is not used for its intended purpose or is subject to mis-use or abuse by the consumer.
+Can I purchase furniture or flooring online?
You can purchase flooring on-line, but we recommend contacting us to set up an onsite measurement or appointment with our sales staff to review your options. You can purchase furniture through us as long as it is within our sales territory.
